Our son received his name book when we was 3 months old. When he was around 9 months he was really into it. I think we must have read it 10 times a day. By the time he was 16 months he could spell his own name. He is now 2 1/2 and we are still reading it. Now when one of our friends have a child this is the first thing I send.
